Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last Updated: May 2026
This page is provided in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It explains your rights regarding the sale or sharing of your personal information and how you can exercise those rights.
Your Right to Opt Out
California residents have the right to direct a business to stop "selling" or "sharing" their personal information with third parties. Under the CCPA, "sharing" includes making personal information available to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising — even if no money changes hands.
While EY Digital Brands LLC (The Great Project) does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, we may share certain categories of personal information with advertising partners (such as Google and Meta/Facebook) for the purpose of delivering targeted advertisements. This activity may constitute "sharing" under California law, and you have the right to opt out.
Categories of Personal Information That May Be Shared
We may share the following categories of personal information with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising:
- Identifiers: Email address, IP address, device identifiers, advertising IDs
- Commercial Information: Products viewed, purchase history, browsing behavior on our site
- Internet or Electronic Network Activity: Pages visited, links clicked, time spent on our website, referring URLs
This information may be used by advertising partners to build profiles and show you relevant advertisements on platforms such as Google Search, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
We Do Not Sell Personal Information for Money
We do not and will not sell your name, address, payment information, or other directly identifying information to data brokers or any third party for monetary compensation. Any sharing of data described above is solely for advertising and analytics purposes with our established platform partners.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
To opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, please submit your request using one of the methods below:
By Email (Preferred)
- Send an email to support@thegreatproject.com
- Use the subject line: CCPA Opt-Out Request
- Include in the body: your full name and the email address associated with your account or that you used to make a purchase
By Phone
Call us at +1 (660) 229-8436 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) and request a CCPA opt-out.
How We Process Your Request
Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will:
- Verify your identity to ensure we are acting on a legitimate request.
- Process your opt-out within 15 business days from the date we receive a verifiable request.
- Instruct our advertising partners to stop using your information for targeted advertising, to the extent technically feasible.
- Send you a confirmation email once your opt-out has been processed.
Please note that opting out may not immediately remove all targeted advertising, as data already processed by third-party platforms may continue to be used in accordance with their own policies. We encourage you to also adjust your privacy settings directly within those platforms (e.g., Google Ad Settings, Facebook Ad Preferences).
No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA privacy rights. We will not:
- Deny you goods or services
- Charge you different prices or rates
- Provide you a different level of quality of goods or services
- Suggest that you will receive a different price or quality if you exercise your rights
Other Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to correct inaccurate information. For a full description of your rights and how to exercise them, please review our Privacy Policy.
Global Privacy Controls (GPC)
We automatically honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals in compliance with California law. If your browser is configured with GPC enabled (available in Firefox, Brave, and via browser extensions), we will automatically treat your visit as an opt-out request for the sale and sharing of your personal information — no further action is required from you.
GPC is a technical browser signal defined under the CCPA/CPRA regulations. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser:
- We will not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising during that session
- We will instruct our advertising platforms to suppress targeted ad delivery where technically supported
- Your opt-out will be processed automatically without the need to submit a separate opt-out request
To enable GPC in your browser, visit globalprivacycontrol.org for setup instructions and compatible browser extensions.
